The aim is to demystify science by bringing together local scientists and the public to discuss how science applies to everyday life. Learn more about the brain, health, obesity, astronomy, ecology, and other topics in the relaxed atmosphere of NU Cafe.
Do you ever wonder: What do scientists really do? How do their experiments in the lab impact the lives of people in the real world? Are they normal people, with normal lives? Then join us for fun talks and conversations with scientists from schools around us.
Local scientists will engage the Worcester community in an open dialogue about the science happening here, their passion for it, the discoveries they have made, and the relevance of their work to our society.
Come for the food… you’ll stay for the science!
When: 6 pm, third Monday of every month
Where: NU Café, 335 Chandler Street, Worcester www.nucafe.com
No cover charge.
