Professor Brown’s research focuses on international relations, comparative immigration and integration policies, human rights, refugees, race/ethnicity and politics, and international security studies. She is most interested in the effect of political culture, technology, institutions, and individual decision-making on different political systems around the world and the historical development of those political processes and structures.
