The George C. Gordon Library offers a wealth of
collections and services to support research and the
WPI curriculum.
The library welcomes all new and returning students, faculty, and staff for the 2014–15 academic year. It offers a wealth of collections and services to support research and the WPI curriculum. Do you need a place to meet? We have a space for that. Come to the library, contact us, or begin with a search on our website—the possibilities are endless.
CALL FOR PHOTOS
Do you have any photos of memorable WPI moments from the last 40 years? The Archives is working with both University Marketing and Alumni Relations to collect images of WPI people, places, and events from the late 1970s through the early 2000s for possible use in an updated volume of WPI’s history. See the recent Gordon Library blog post here to view the wish list of images and for more information about how to share your photos.
MORE RESOURCES FOR EVERYONE
We begin the academic year with even more resources available from the library. Two academic streaming video services, electronic book collections in a variety of subject areas, board and video games, and some new journal titles, as well as backfiles of others have recently been added to our extensive collection of books, journals, databases, and other media. If there is another resource you would like the library to consider, we welcome your suggestions. You’ll find a “Suggest a Purchase” form on our website.
LIBRARIAN AT GATEWAY
As part of the Gordon Library’s outreach plan to support graduate students, Tom Hohenstein, one of our Research and Instruction librarians, will be offering office hours at Gateway during A-Term to assist students, faculty, and staff in using the library’s resources. To learn about Tom’s hours at Gateway, check out this blog post.
