Senator Hillary Clinton has booked WPI’s Alden Memorial on Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, as a satellite simulcast location for “Hillary's Voices Across America: A National Town Hall.” The first 60 minutes of this 90-minute town hall will be broadcast on the Hallmark Channel. The event will air live at 9 p.m., EST.
Senator Clinton will not be at WPI for the event because she will anchor the Town Hall from New York City. Instead, Congressman James McGovern (D-MA) will serve as the local host for the event. In addition to the WPI event, Senator Clinton has booked 20 more simulcast events across the country. People attending these events will have the opportunity to ask her questions live via satellite on the national broadcast.
The doors to Alden Memorial will open at 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
