STEMpire: Women Shaping the Future of Innovation
5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
Join us for "STEMpire: Women Shaping the Future of Innovation," where we delve into the challenges and opportunities for women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. Despite progress, women's representation in STEM remains significantly lower than men's. We will explore underlying reasons and celebrate the achievements of women in STEM, addressing barriers such as biases, stereotypes, and limited mentorship.
Our event features insightful discussions led by esteemed female leaders and innovators in STEM, focusing on gender equity, diversity, and strategies for fostering a supportive environment. By highlighting women's accomplishments and experiences, we aim to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and technologists.
Join us in empowering women in STEM and building a more inclusive future for all.
The following subtopics will be the focus of our discussion:
-
Examine persistent gender disparities in STEM fields
-
Identify obstacles and biases faced by women in STEM
