SOAR Series Panel 1: Industry/University Collaborative Research Centers (I/UCRC)

Wednesday, March 12, 2025
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

WPI’s “purpose-driven research” strategy provides a thriving supportive environment for applied research that focusses on translating scientific discoveries into real-world solutions. Governments, private companies, and nonprofit organizations, each with distinct priorities and objectives, all fund applied research. This SOAR series will feature panel discussions that highlight several of these funding opportunities, with faculty members who have successfully secured research funding sharing their experiences.

The NSF’s IUCRC program generates breakthrough research by enabling close and sustained engagement between industry innovators, world-class academic teams and government agencies. Following WPI center directors will provide information about engaging with Industry collaborators and answer your questions about the program.
