Facilitator Bio:

Angelique M. Davis, JD, is a Full Professor of Political Science at Seattle University and former director of their African & African-American Studies Program. Her research concentrates on the socio-legal construction and manifestations of race and racism in the United States. In addition to her academic pursuits, Professor Davis practiced employment law in both the public and private sectors before joining the academy. She currently consults on employment law matters and is a Commissioner with the Seattle Civil Service Commission. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
