In the second of Gordon Library’s 23-24 Meet the Author series of informal opportunities to meet and hear from our WPI faculty authors, Prof. Jennifer Rudolph (editor/contributor) will speak in conversation with journalist and scholar Leta Hong Fincher (contributor) about their work on The China Questions 2: Critical Insights into US-China Relations (Harvard, 2022). Expanding on the work in The China Questions: Critical Insights into a Rising Power (2018), this new work consists of concise essays aimed at a general public that focus on key questions concerning US and Chinese national security, economics, technology, flashpoints of Taiwan and Xinjiang, societal issues including inequality and feminism, and more.
