The first event in this year's Authors Unbound series of author conversations, Ludic Soundscapes: Music, Sonic Environments, and Video Games will be the topic of co-editors Dr. Elizabeth Hambleton (Gordon Library), and Professor Kate Galloway (RPI), who collaborated on the 2024 publication, Music and Sonic Environments in Video Games: Listening to and Performing Ludic Soundscapes (Routledge).

From the publisher:  "The essays in this volume bring game music and sound into the environmental humanities and transform our understanding of sonic environments as an essential part of storytelling in interactive media.”
