Speaker: 

Susan Church is the Chief Operating Officer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, acting as a policy advisor, coordinator and manager of issues relating to immigration in Massachusetts government.  

As an immigration lawyer, Church will provide information about immigration law, policy, and status, including basics of the immigration system, practices of past administrations as well as what to expect from the incoming administration. Church will also discuss concerns of foreign students related to travel outside of the United States, Massachusetts law surrounding Immigration and Customs Enforcement capacity, and rights and responsibilities of individuals when dealing with law enforcement.
