Graduate Researcher Education and Training (GREAT) Series
A multisession series run each year to provide instruction on fundamental skills and knowledge graduate researchers (PhDs, Masters Thesis Students) need to be successful in their research activities. This series has a specific focus on research communication skills (fellowships, manuscripts, posters, communicating research to non-technical audiences), with other topics, such as finding and critically reading research literature being covered as well.

The session will provide critical information for students on how to search for and put together a competitive fellowship application. Lunch will be provided.

Tuesday, October 22
A workshop on finding and critically reviewing scientific research. This session will be taught by staff from the Library. Lunch will be provided.
Tuesday, November 19
Learn best practices around creating and delivering an effective research seminar. Luch will be provided.
