How can you create a more inclusive, engaging, and empowering environment, especially for traditionally underrepresented students in your classroom?  WPI faculty and staff have begun to explore inclusive open educational resources (OERs) as a way to improve representation, access, and engagement in our curriculum. 

Please join us to hear from a panel of last year’s recipients of EmpOwER, the WIN-funded project that supports and mentors faculty interested in adopting, adapting, or creating OER materials that promote inclusive content.  Join past recipient panelists to learn about how WPI faculty are engaging the next generation of STEM professionals and shaping the way disciplinary content is represented in more inclusive, just, and robust ways.  

The 23-24 EmpOwER team will also share information about this fall’s call for the next cohort of faculty to participate in the expanded WIN grant this year, beginning in C-Term. 

The Morgan Center is generously providing registered attendees with lunch – register today using this link FFT OER Registration, but please join us for any time you can to hear from fellow faculty and learn more about this year’s grant.

People who need to leave early for 1pm commitments are still welcome to attend. Lunch will be provided for all those who register at least 3 business days in advance.
