WPI Wildfire Research Featured on WBUR's The Common Podcast

Albert Simeoni, head of the Department of Fire Protection Engineering and a former firefighter, appeared on The Common, a podcast from WBUR, Boston's National Public Radio. 

Simeoni talked about his first-hand experience with fighting fire and how he, faculty, and WPI students in the fire protection engineering program are driven to engage in research to find out how to mitigate large wildfires. 

Simeoni also discussed WPI's cutting-edge fire laboratories, and the experiments conducted on campus that help researchers advance the field of wildfire research.
