WPI Data Science Program Impact Highlighted in Worcester Telegram and Gazette

More than 530 Big Data companies exist in Massachusetts!

WPI Data Science Program Director, Elke Rundensteiner, was quoted in the Worcester Telegram and Gazette this weekend on BIG DATA and how it is helping to grow industry in the Great New England region and in particular Central Massachusetts.

Astoundingly, there are more than 530 Big Data companies in the Commonwealth, an increase of more than 50 companies over the past two years alone. WPI 's Data Science Program helps by training well educated data scientists to fuel this growth.
