Fortune’s latest national rankings of the best master’s in computer science programs placed WPI among the top 10 in online and in-person categories.

The magazine placed WPI fourth in the nation in online computer science programs, and sixth in the nation for in-person computer science programs. Fortune’s methodology incorporated six key data points, including graduation rate, retention rate, and tuition.

The rankings highlight WPI’s leadership in computer science education and research, and amplify WPI’s excellent return on investment: as Fortune points out, the median salary for WPI computer science master’s students three-months after graduation is $97,000.
