UN Sustainable Development Goal 1: No Poverty

What if nearly everything we thought we knew about poverty was wrong? Who Owns Poverty? by Dr. Martín Burt, founder and CEO of the nonprofit Fundación Paraguaya, answers this question by recounting the extraordinary story of the Poverty Stoplight, an anti-poverty program that puts poor people in charge of defining and diagnosing their own multidimensional poverty.

In an exciting addition to the 24-25 Authors Unbound series at WPI, Professor Burt will be joined by WPI Press editor in chief, Rob Krueger, who will discuss Burt's revised and updated edition of Who Owns Poverty - one of the first books to be published by the WPI Press.

Please join us on Thursday, February 20 at 2pm for a great conversation and light refreshments in the Library's Gordon Conference Room (Room 303).
