Solomon Mensah is joining the BME Department as an Assistant Professor. His research is focused on understanding the role of the vascular endothelial glycocalyx in the onset and progression of cardiopulmonary related diseases including pulmonary edema, lung cancer and acute respiratory distress syndrome. Professor Mensah's work also has global health applications.
