The following message was sent to graduating students:
Dear Members of the Class of 2023,
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Commencement is a major milestone for you, your family, and friends. We hope you are as excited about this celebration as we are!
Here’s the key information you need to know at this time:
· GRADFEST will occur on Friday, April 21. This is a chance to pick up your regalia and socialize over a beverage and food later that evening. More information forthcoming.
· The Graduate Commencement Ceremony will be on Thursday, May 11 at 5:00 p.m.
· The ROTC Commissioning Ceremony will occur on Friday, May 12 (time TBD).
· The Undergraduate Baccalaureate Program will occur on Friday, May 12 at 5:30 p.m.
· The Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will occur on Saturday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m.
· Tickets are ONLY required for the undergraduate ceremony.
All commencement ceremonies and programs will occur under the tent on the Quad, and the WPI Commencement website will be your key source of information.
Students participating in the Thursday and/or Saturday ceremonies need to do the following:
· Order your regalia here. Orders are due by March 10. Pick up your regalia at the Bookstore during GRADFEST to avoid delivery charges!
· Indicate whether you will attend your ceremony via your WPI HUB Dashboard. The form will be live soon.
· Undergraduates: Watch for ticketing information in February/March. Each undergraduate candidate registered to participate in the 2023 undergraduate commencement exercises will be eligible to receive tickets to distribute to their guests. Additional information (including the number of tickets available per student) will be sent to you via e-mail later this spring. Students who register by April 24, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. should expect to be eligible for a maximum of four (4) tickets. There is no charge for tickets.
As always, we will be streaming all ceremonies live and will have plenty of indoor viewing locations on campus for friends and family members. Tickets are not required for these locations.
Your Commencement is a special day, and our goal is to help make the day exceptional for you and every one of our graduates. Thank you!
