The Reflection Space: One Year in the Making
Department(s):
George C. Gordon Library
The Gordon Library's Reflection Space debuted one year ago, as a quiet area for WPI students to reflect, pray, meditate, and de-stress. The space continues to evolve, providing space for prayer, meditation, and sensory relief, with new additions of noise-canceling headphones and rocking chairs.
A beautiful area rug defines the space for prayer, and yoga mats, prayer rugs and meditation cushions are placed to one side.
WPI students helped create art for the space during the library’s De-Stress Days and have continually used the suggestion box to share feedback:
“This place is amazing, I love the colors, texture and view. Thank you so much.”
“I’m just glad you guys are doing this, great job! Keep up the good work.”
