Professor Alexander Wyglinski receives Award

Congratulations to WPI Electrical and Computer Engineering Professor Alex Wyglinski for his award entitled “A High Speed Variable Rate PSK Satellite Modem,” funded recently by ORB Analytics.  This project will devise new methods for supporting high speed satellite transmissions using the latest in communications techniques and hardware in order to support advanced communication networks.  Given the extensive expertise of Professor Wyglinski and his research team at the Wireless Innovation Laboratory in the area of satellite communications, it is expected that this project will yield innovative results that will define the current state-of-the-art in satellite communication systems engineering.
