When Worcester Polytechnic Institute alumni show up, they show out!
On Monday, WPI Business School Dean Debora Jackson and one of our favorite alumni and Raytheon Technologies manufacturing engineer Suzanne Opalka brought a group of WPI Business School students to Pratt & Whitney Customer Training Center in East Hartford, Connecticut.
Through the generosity of WPI Trustee, Collins Aerospace Executive Director, and alumni Dorothea Wong and Pratt & Whitney Program Manager and alumni Mary Schubert, our students were treated to an in-depth tour of the jet engine production and sales processes and then spent some quality time with them.
And if that wasn't enough, an amazing supporting cast of WPI super alumni joined in. Thank you Dave Fleury, Andrew Silvia, Christopher Pater, and Patrick Sharkey for being so welcoming and demonstrating that once a GOAT, always a GOAT!
Shoutout to Sarah Spencer and our Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineersstudents for coordinating logistics here on campus in Worcester.
