Poets & Quants, a leading media outlet and largest provider of MBA programs and management education content in the industry, has released their 2022 rankings of Top Online MBA programs. Evaluating a record 52 programs, the WPI Business School was ranked 23rd overall. Rankings are based on admissions standards, academic experience, and career outcomes.
The MBA continues to be one of the most popular master’s degree program. Top business schools, which have continued to create programs in response to strong demand, saw an increase in demand during the pandemic. Demand for WPI Business School online MBA program has been no exception. With 30 new MBA students confirmed for academic year 2021-2022, we are at pre-pandemic growth.
What made the difference in the Business School’s 2022 rankings? Participants were asked to respond to several questions using a 10-point scale and our program was highly regarded by our alumni. To the question, “If you did participate in a consulting project for a client organization, please rate your satisfaction with that project,” WPI Business School alums rated our program a 10. We received a 9.83 on the question, “How accessible and responsive were your professors?” We were also rated a 9.83 on the question “Rate your level of satisfaction with the flexibility provided by your program.” Our students ranked us a 9.5 on the question, “Rate your satisfaction with your ability to immediately apply what you learned in the program to your job.” And when asked “Would you recommend the business program to a colleague, friend, or family member?” the WPI Business School received a 9.33.
