New Search Features Available Now in Digital WPI!
Department(s):
George C. Gordon LibraryA powerful new Advanced Search feature in Digital WPI now makes it possible to execute complex, focused searches to quickly answer questions like:
- How many MQPs in the Architectural Engineering major were completed in 2023?
- Did any IQPs at the Wellington NZ Project Center win the President’s IQP award?
- How many MQPs in Physics received the Provost’s MQP award?
To try out Advanced Searching, select the "Advanced Search" button located under the single search box in the Digital WPI repository: https://digital.wpi.edu/. Search Tips are provided on the Advanced Search form, and your questions and feedback about how it works are always welcome! Please email digitalwpi@wpi.edu to share your thoughts.
Also new in Digital WPI is a date slider search option available from the main search page that allows users to limit their search results (such as campus newspapers or student works) to a range of years.
What’s next for Digital WPI? The Digital WPI team is working now on a long-requested feature to allow users to download/export and share their search results. We hope to release this feature by late spring 2024.
Also in the Digital WPI pipeline are continual additions to our new Spotlight/Exhibit site, exhibits.wpi.edu – the latest addition is a new digital exhibition about the Higgins House, joining recently released exhibits of works by Charles Dickens’s famous and lesser-known illustrators; photographs by Tony King from the Gordon Library’s collection (also exhibited in the library’s gallery spaces); and selections from the library’s 2023 exhibit on WPI’s international students, 1872-1943.
Questions? We’d love to hear from you! Please email us at digitalwpi@wpi.edu.
