Information Technology ServicesITS created this new request form and the ability to view all items for a new worker to improve the hiring managers' experience when onboarding new team members. Prior to a new employee's start date, hiring managers or their delegates can request computer, phone extension, building and specialized departmental access, etc. and view status on the Hub.
A single form can be submitted by a hiring manager or delegate to request multiple items for a new employee or contingent worker. The submitter receives an email with a unique WPI Hub link where the status of all items can be viewed, and additional requests can be made. This decreases the individual emails, phone calls, and ITS tickets created and tracked during onboarding. The form is also useful for access changes when a current employee transitions roles and/or duties.
