Dear WPI Employees and Students,

 

We have had an excellent response to our modern multi-factor authentication (MFA) campaign: 94% of all WPI accounts have been verified! Thank you to all who have set up the Microsoft Authenticator app or a security key for your WPI account

If you are in the 6% who have not enabled modern MFA, you will not be able to get into your account without assistance, and we strongly recommend you contact the IT Service Desk (508-831-5888) as soon as possible. We’re happy to help. All account holders not using an approved method have been sent multiple targeted emails since December. The IT Service Desk continues to provide support to anyone who needs MFA or login assistance. If you are experiencing challenges with MFA, we encourage you to provide us with details so that we can help you and continue to improve the login experience for all. 

We appreciate your understanding and vigilance to protect your account, which is vital to the university’s overall security posture. As we close this project, we thank you for making this important information security improvement a success!
