Mimi Sheller to Deliver Keynote at International Conference Nov. 11-12

Global School Dean Mimi Sheller is one of the keynote speakers at an international conference this fall on global implications of migratory movement. Organized by Netherlands-based Utrecht University and its Centre for Global Challenges (and in cooperation with DAMR, RENFORCE and the Focus Area Migration and Societal Change), this international conference--held November 11 and 12--will focus on human mobility beyond the Eurocentric perspective and seeks to synthesize knowledge and experience gained by the vastly different forced displacements around the globe.

Sheller will be joined by Professor Shahram Khosravi of Stockholm University and Dr. Matthias Leese of the Center for Security Studies, ETH Zurich.
