This March, the Division of Talent & Inclusion will be offering Management Essentials, an interactive, four-session program designed for new managers with less than three years of managerial experience.
The program features best practices, case studies, and engaging activities to help new managers a) understand their management style, b) build key skills for effective leadership, c) strengthen project and performance management for productivity and work-life integration, and d) improve communication to motivate teams, foster accountability, and navigate crucial conversations.
Eligibility and Schedule
The program is open to faculty and staff who a) hold a supervisory position and b) have less than 3 years of management experience. It will run from March 19th until April 9th from 9:30 am to 1 pm in the Forkey Conference Room (Harrington Auditorium).

Managers interested in the program need to complete THIS FORM. If they meet the eligibility criteria, they will receive confirmation of their enrollment status.
Please note that space in this year’s program cohort is limited; therefore, managers are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.
