Assistant Professor Coburn for being awarded BME Teacher of the Year for 2019-2020. In addition to teaching an extra course over her standard load, her reviews were stellar for all three courses. Further, the evolution of her self-created sophomore level BME2610 course is truly impressive and a much-needed addition to our Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering track. It is also important to note that she received the Society of Sigma Xi’s award for excellence in research and scholarship for 2019-2020 in the Junior Faculty category. Congratulations Jeannine!
