| Support Tickets & Self-Service | HaloITSM was implemented as WPI’s new enterprise service platform and ticketing system. It is currently used for support from ITS, Registrar, Bursar, Talent & Inclusion, CMS-Help in Marketing & Communications, Student Affairs, and Academic Affairs. | At help.wpi.edu you can submit and view tickets for issues and requests, and find self-service “how-to” and informational articles in the knowledge base. | Printers | WPI ITS-managed printer security is improved by connecting through WPI’s print server rather than direct printing. | You may check your printer setup per the steps in the news. Change or create new printer connections using these instructions. | |
| KnowBe4 Cybersecurity Training | ITS has partnered with KnowBe4 to offer cybersecurity awareness education. | Please complete training within 30 days of receiving the email from KnowBe4. | Access training with your WPI credentials via the link in KnowBe4 training email. |
| Windows 11 | WPI ITS-managed computers are being upgraded to the Windows 11 operating system during 2024. |
Public computer upgrades will be complete by A-term start, so Windows 11 will be used in labs, classrooms, Gordon Library, etc. Employees presently have the option to upgrade a WPI-provisioned computer at their convenience. | Install Windows 11. |

Everyone may specify name pronunciation in Workday. Student name pronunciations are currently available for use by Faculty and TAs on the Canvas class roster. |
