Hello WPI Community,
We are almost exactly one year since COVID-19 turned our worlds upside down and left us to rebuild our communities. Throughout the past year, we have all done our part to make sure we can get to the other side of this pandemic. While we’re certainly living the everyday reality of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we also want to recognize that keeping our community healthy and safe would not have been possible without the healthcare workers that serve our greater Worcester community.
As an opportunity to say thank you to our healthcare workers, this month we’re celebrating just some of the many essential workers through, “The Herd Gives Back: Helping our Healthcare Heroes.” This fundraiser will help to support our local healthcare workers while they support our community.
Donations collected through WPI’s JustGiving page will go directly towards supporting caregivers of the COVID-19 pandemic within the UMass Health Care system.
Donations may be made individually, on behalf of a group, or anonymously. Those who donate as an individual or group will be entered into a raffle to win one of ten prizes from the WPI Bookstore. Anyone who donates will be recognized on the bookstore window for the month of March.
Donations can be given any time before the end of March (March 31 @ 11:59pm). Please see the TechSync event for full details on this excellent opportunity to give back.
