Fluxtrol Inc., Auburn Hills, Michigan, presented the Prof. Valentin S. Nemkov Academic Research Award during the ASM International Heat Treat 2019 conference in Detroit. Robert Goldstein, the Conference Chair and Fluxtrol’s Director of Engineering, presented the prestigious award to Professor Rick Sisson, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and Center for Heat Treatment Excellence (CHTE) for winning the Prof. Valentin S. Nemkov Academic Research Award. Dr. Sisson received $2500 for excellence in academic research in the field of thermal processing. The award supports research activity at the academic researcher’s institution.
