Feedback on areas such as working hours, summer schedules and our paid time off benefit programs including vacation, sick, float holidays and institutional paid holidays.

The Division of Talent & Inclusion, in partnership with Staff Council, is seeking feedback on areas including working hours, summer schedules and our paid time off benefit programs including vacation, sick, float holidays and institutional paid holidays.  In January 2025, a Task Force was formed and charged with reviewing current paid time off plans and practices, summer working hours/schedule as well as regular working hours.  Over the past several weeks the Task Force has reviewed current benefit policies, trends in utilization of paid time off, data from last year’s Summer Hours and Remote/Flex Work Task Force and peer benchmarking.  We would like to invite further input and suggestions from employees.  To facilitate opportunities for feedback, Staff Council & Talent & Inclusion will host two open sessions:  Open Meeting on March 26 (2:00–3:30 p.m. via Zoom) and a Small Group Listening Session on March 27 (12:00–1:00 p.m. in the Chairs Conference Room).

If you would like to share your input but are unable to attend the open meeting or small group listening session, we encourage you to submit feedback through the Staff Council feedback form.  We ask that you submit by April 1st as the Task Force aims to submit its recommendation to leadership in mid-April.
