eProjects 2.0 June/July Update

eProjects 2.0 is an important part of Enterprise Transformation. Visit the growing website at https://eprojects.wpi.edu to see how eProjects 2.0 helps students find, register, conduct, submit, and archive their projects. The entire community can also see the wide range of projects underway. 

Progress to Date 

The eProjects 2.0 MQP Hub was launched on June 1, 2018. The MQP Hub helps students find a Major Qualifying Project (MQP) by filtering/searching through an easy-to-use interface. 

The eProjects 2.0 Humanities & Arts Hub went live on July 9, 2018. Using an interface similar to the MQP Hub, it helps students find an HUA project.  

Visits to department meetings and retreats are underway to demonstrate these useful new tools. 

IGSD is next! 

eProjects 2.0 will go global in August to support the WPI Interdisciplinary and Global Studies Division (IGSD).  

August 15 – Project Center Directors can begin populating their eProjects dashboards with project, housing, travel, contact, and other geographic-specific information. 

September 12 – Students will apply to the IGSD program and select their preferred international destination. 

How can you help? 

  • Direct your students looking to fulfill their MQP or HUA requirements to eProjects 2.0. 

  • Direct your faculty & staff advisors to advertise their MQP or HUA to eProjects 2.0. 

  • Remind your students to attend the IGSD fair this September. 

  • Keep informed about eProjects 2.0 and share your ideas.
