Enterprise Transformation Message to the Community

As you are aware, last summer WPI embarked on an Enterprise Transformation initiative which will result in a significant change to how the university leverages technology. WPI is moving from on premise systems which limit growth and capacity to cloud based systems which improve usability, efficiency and security. Once implemented, the project will dramatically improve processes and procedures across the university. The first phase of this transformation will go live in October of 2018, with the move from Banner to Workday for all staff, faculty and student employees, focusing on the Talent & Inclusion and Finance areas. To help share information about this initiative, we have launched a new website which can be viewed at: https://www.wpi.edu/about/enterprise-transformation. This site includes details on the four different aspects of enterprise transformation, with FAQs and timelines.

As this project continues to progress, we will continue to update this website and send additional announcements via WPI Today and the Daily Herd.  Stay tuned for more exciting news and information, including training details and improved processes.
