Meet the 2018 WPI Data Science REU Undergraduate Research Students!
These remarkably bright students were carefully chosen from more than 500 applicants from colleges and universities throughout the country.
The students are working in teams with Data Science faculty on current, ongoing research projects, for ten weeks of intensive study and research.

Between research and more research, the students are also invited to visit local industries that work with Data Science.
Their first trip was to MathWorks in Natick, MA where students were given a tour, lunch, presentations and a first hand impression of what work life is like in the real world.
