WPI's Business School Professor, Joseph Sarkis, appeared on Sustainability Leaders Podcast where he participated in a roundtable discussion sharing his expertise from his long-standing focus on sustainable supply chains and the circular economy. The podcast was motivated by one of Professor Sarki's papers, though created with a broader focus. The panelists consisted of Joesph Sarkis, Professor of Management at WPI, Yanji Duan, Assistant Professor of Logistics at the Coggin College of Business at University of North Florida and Serena Zhu (Qingyun Zhu), Assistant Professor from the Department of Management Information Systems at San Diego State University and WPI Alum (MS/PhD). "Sustainability Leaders," hosted by BMO’s Alma Cortes-Selva, aims to explore the rapidly evolving field of sustainability by engaging with leading practitioners from corporate, investment, academic, and NGO sectors. It seeks to discuss how sustainability impacts global investment, business practices, and societal trends, while highlighting innovative approaches, challenges, and solutions in sustainable supply chain management and related topics.
