For Associate-Rank Faculty: Mid-Career Professional Development Plans
Department(s):
Morgan Teaching & Learning CenterCreation, implementation, and ongoing refinement of a professional development plan (PDP) is the foundation for mentoring of Associate-rank faculty at WPI across all tracks. A goal of the WPI PDP is to empower mid-career faculty to fully unleash their creativity and to pursue passions and dream projects across all types of faculty work (teaching, multiple forms of scholarship, leadership, service) in integrated ways that will benefit departments, programs, the institution, and/or external communities and also lead to promotion. A workshop is offered each January for Associates to start or refresh their PDP in community with colleagues.
This year's workshop on Creating or Refreshing a Mid-Career Professional Development Plan will be held on Monday, January 9 from 10am - 1pm in Innovation Studio 205. Please register here if you plan to attend.
