To prepare for Commencement, all graduate and undergraduates need to do the following:
- Order your regalia. Only half of your class has done so! After Tuesday, the price increases by $15.
- If you’ve not done so, log into your WPI Hub Account, click on the “My Commencement” cap icon and complete the following:
- Tell us whether you are attending your ceremony;
- Complete the Heebner Career Development Center (CDC) survey;
- Update your Lifetime Engagement information;
- Tell us whether you need transportation to the DCU Center, and then…
- You may request up to 8 guest tickets for your ceremony. There is no charge for tickets, but all guests must have a ticket to enter. Tickets may be requested ONLY after you complete the tasks listed above. All ticket requests must be completed by April 22 at 11:59 pm. The site will close at midnight.
- After April 22, if additional tickets are available, we will announce and conduct a lottery for up to 3 additional tickets. Successful applicants will be notified directly.
- We are seeking student speakers and musicians for Convocation (May 7) and speakers for Graduate Commencement (May 9) and Undergraduate Commencement (May 10). Audition dates will be April 16 & 18. General information is located here, with audition information posted soon.
- Be on the lookout for an e-mail from NameCoach, a software platform that allows you to record your name. This allows our name readers to learn how to pronounce your name correctly for your ceremony.
- GRADFEST is Friday, April 19, where you’ll pick up your regalia between 12:00 – 6:30. We’ll send you a link to register for the Odeum Social from 4:30 p.m.– 6:30 p.m. Join us for a free beverage with early registration, food, photos, and socializing!
- You do not need a ticket to participate!
More information is posted on the Commencement website. Please check this site often and encourage your guests to do the same.
