Resources for School Counselors

Every student is looking for something different in a college, but if you know of one who’s passionate about STEM but just as interested in things like music, theatre, entrepreneurship, and athletics; who thrives in a fast-paced, project-focused setting; who prioritizes collaboration over competition; and who wants to share their passions and talents with the world...
...then WPI might be a good place for them to start.
There are several ways in which you can visit the WPI campus, we look forward to meeting you!

Three Application Options
WPI’s three application options include Early Decision, Early Action, and Regular Decision. Each one has a different deadline, and students admitted under an Early Decision plan will receive a minimum scholarship of $20,000 and the opportunity to take a free WPI course the summer before they enroll at WPI.

Application Information
Students can complete their applications through the Common Application or the Coalition Application. We’ve also put together a college application timeline checklist to help students put their best foot forward. We can’t wait to see who they are and learn more about them!

Honoring Tomorrow's STEM Innovators

70+ Degrees and Programs, Infinite Possibilities
WPI may be best known as a STEM-focused institution, but that’s only the beginning of what we have to offer. Students study under world-class faculty to earn degrees in science, engineering, technology, business and management, the social sciences, and the humanities and arts, taking the theories they learn in the classroom and bringing them to life through practice thanks to our renowned project-based curriculum. And with newly announced programs in artificial intelligence, financial technology, and a BS in architectural engineering and a fifth year MS in architecture, WPI remains on the forefront of innovation.
Learning How to Learn
Like most things, WPI does academics a little differently—hence, the WPI Plan. With a focus on project-based learning (WPI’s specialty), courses span four seven-week terms. Here, students earn an A, B, C, or No Record, giving them the chance—and the confidence—to explore and try something new without fear of failing grades.
