Alexandre pursued a Master’s Degree at WPI after finishing 2 of the 3 years at ENSIC Nancy (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques). The MS degree at WPI is like a third year in France. He graduated in 2009 both with a MS in Chemical Engineering at WPI and as an ingénieur at ENSIC, in France. His MS thesis is entitled "CFD study of the intra and inter particles transport phenomena in a fixed-bed reactor".

On returning to France, Alexandre worked in one of Air Liquide's research centers as a consulting Engineer. Until 2013 he worked at CRCD (Centre de Recherche Claude Delorme) in France, but was officially employed by a consulting company called Greenbirdie. Recently, he joined Total, where he is based in Paris and is in charge of following outsourced CFD studies from the different subsidiaries.
