The house at 157 West Street is home to the Center for Project-Based Learning and the STEM Education Center at WPI. The Center for Project-Based Learning works to support faculty and administrators from colleges and universities around the world benefit from more than 40 years of WPI’s experience and expertise in project-based learning. It also supports the WPI community working on project-based pedagogy. The STEM Education Center is WPI’s PreK-12 STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) educator hub. It works with educators, administrators, out-of-school programs, communities, WPI faculty, and more on high-quality, project-based, integrated STEM education. It also looks at ways to make STEM subjects more accessible to learners of diverse backgrounds.
