2000-1999 Created and monitored the implementation of a new course in film

           1) Spanish American Film: Cultural Issues

1998 Created and monitored the implementaion of four new courses related to Culture, Business, and Technology in Latin America:

1) Latin American Media: Reflections on Culture, Economics, and Politics in the 20th Century (In Spanish) [Taught in C Term 1999]

2) Emerging Trends in Science, Engineering and Business in Latin American (In English) [To be implemented in 1999-2000]

3) Latin-American Business Environment (In Spanish) [To be implemented in 1999-2000]

4) Technical and Business Spanish (In Spanish) [To be implemented in 1999-2000]

1997 Helped in the creation of a new Minor in Spanish and German at WPI.

Redesigned and taught the course SP3523 Topics in Latin American Culture (Experimental Course by using the Multimedia Center at WPI) (Refer to http://www.wpi.edu/~arivera/cursode.html).

1994 Designed and taught the course SP3523 Topics in Latin American Culture (Experimental Course in English)

1994 Helped in the reformulation of the Spanish Sufficiency Sequence at WPI.
