Rules
- Only WPI faculty, staff, students, or Mass Academy Students may enter.
- Individuals or teams may enter.
- Content of the video must include the Gordon Library building or website (wpi.edu/+library), and topic or theme must relate to the use of library materials, resources, or facilities.
- Video should be 1-5 minutes long.
- Video may not contain inappropriate content
- Entry must adhere to all applicable copyright laws (including for the use of music, images, etc).
- All entries are subject to screening by library staff and submitters will grant the Gordon Library royalty-free use.
How to Enter
- Check out a video camcorder from the Library Information Desk, Academic Technology Center, or use your own.
- Create a video based on contest rules outlined above.
- Upload your video to YouTube. Contestants will have to create their own YouTube account in order to participate.
- Submit your entry via library web site online form at by April 1, 2008.
- Judges will be notified and winners of 2 Flip Cameras & other prizes will be notified during National Library Week (April 13-19th).

What is the judging criteria?
A judging panel made up of faculty, staff, students, and a staff member from the Central Massachusetts Regional Library System will choose the winners. Winners will be judged on the following:
- Creativity
- Clear evidence of purpose/intent
- Content helpful or informative to library users
- Overall relevance to the contest rules
