Configuring Outlook 2003 for IMAP to the UNIX Mail Server

Step 1

Double-click the Mail icon from Start > Settings > Control Panel > Mail.

You should now be presented with the following screen, where you should click on the E-Mail Accounts... button.

Choose Add a new e-mail account, and click Next.

Choose IMAP, and click Next.

Step 4

Configure your settings by entering your Username, UNIX password, imap.wpi.edu as the Incoming Mail Server, and smtp.wpi.edu as the Outgoing Mail Server.

Step 5

You should now be able to open Outlook and check your WPI e-mail. If you experience any difficulties, please contact the Helpdesk.
